We decided to renovate our kitchen in December 2013. We did our due diligence in researching contractors and by speaking to people who had previous renovations performed. Of the people we spoke too, Totl Building was recommended so we invited Drew and Tony to come to our house and provide a quote. From the moment they walked in, I was not only was impressed by the professionalism but what nice guys they also were. They told us exactly what they would do, provided samples and pictures from previous jobs. We still got two other quotes after they left (one can never be too careful) but we ended up going with them and it wasn’t based on the price quoted. It was a gut feeling and my gut didn’t let me down. They were available for all concerns, explained everything in a language I could understand, were done ahead of schedule AND at the quoted price! The workmanship was excellent and their crew was also just as professional and courteous. I see why they came recommended and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them to anyone. In fact, I did. My mother used them for her bathroom remodel and had no complaints either!

We recently hired Totl Building to renovate our kitchen as we have plans to sell our home in the near future. There were a few issues with timing but not every job is perfect. However, the end result is exactly what we had envisioned. In fact, it was beyond our expectations. The thing we liked best about Drew was his honesty when we asked about adding an extension onto the family room. He actually talked us out of it and explained how the cost and the room won’t sell the home for the additional money we wanted to put into it. Not many contractors would be that honest especially when more money is being offered. We have referred Drew to a few of our friends and recommend him wholeheartedly. He’s not only honest but a genuinely nice guy.

We had a leak in our roof over our living room. The unfortunate thing was Christmas was just a couple of weeks away. Drew assessed the damage/repairs and without asking, he expedited the project in order to have it done before Christmas.

Even though the job was quite tricky, we have very high ceilings in the area, it was done thoroughly, professionally and efficiently. The ceiling looks fantastic.

The most important factor for us was a safe environment while the work was being done (we have small children). The cleanup and how the area was left ‘off hours’ was perfect. We would totally recommend Totl Building and Design and would certainly use them again.

Drew did a complete renovation of our kitchen in 2011 and the job went very smoothly and on budget. His advice was very helpful in the design phase and we are still pleased with the final result. Fast forward to October 2016 and we contracted him again to completely renovate our main and ensuite bathrooms. We are again pleased with the result, excellent quality and on budget.
