In working with this bathroom renovation, the biggest issue was that it was just plain old, and because of this, the bathroom had mould. One of the sources was a lack of ventilation, and the vinyl floor tiling was beginning to lift.
The solution was to go in a gut the room, with a full removal of the entire bathroom fixtures, cabinets, shower and toilet, as well as all the rotten materials. We then were able to work with the family in choosing a very decorative, modern style bathroom décor, which was extremely functional, with plenty of outside venting for the glass shower, complete with a rock feature, and sleek slate tile flooring. Converted to a modern style usable bathroom with venting for glass shower.
